Xiaomi on Monday (December 9, 2024) launched the Redmi Note 14 5G series featuring Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G, Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 14 5G smartphones in India. The Chinese smartphone seller also launched two new AIoT products, Xiaomi sound outdoor smart party speaker and Redmi Buds 6.

The Xiaomi sound outdoor smart speaker comes with IP67 water-resistance ratings, up to 12 hours playtime, and can produce 30 W sound output. Users can connect up to 100 Xiaomi speakers at a time. The smart speaker supports Bluetooth 5.4 and above devices. The Xiaomi sound outdoor smart speaker has been priced at ₹3,499.

The Redmi Buds 6 is IP54 rated, supports Bluetooth 5.4 and above, and claims up to 42 hours of battery life. The ANC-supported earbuds will retail at ₹2,799.

The Note 14 5G series operate on Android 14 based on HyperOS 1.0 out of the box.

The Redmi Note 14 5G series also brings the Gemini-based gen AI features called the AiMi with functions like interpreter, live translate, subtitles and circle to search.

Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G

The Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G has a 6.67 inch 1.5K AMOLED display with 3,000 nits peak brightness and a 120 Hz refresh rate. It also supports Dolby Vision. The front uses the Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and the back gets Gorilla Glass 7i for protection.

Xiaomi has used a 6,200 mAh battery in Note 14 Pro+ 5G backed by a 90 W charger inside the box. It is IP68 and IP69 rated as well.

The Note 14 Pro+ 5G sports a 50 MP main light hunter 800 sensor, a 50 MP telephoto lens with 2.5X optical zoom and an 8 MP ultrawide camera. It has a 20 MP front camera for selfies. AI features are available in camera as well.

The Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G runs on Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor with up to 12 GB LPDDR4X RAM and 512 GB UFS 2.2 storage. It will get 3 OS and 4 years of security updates.

Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G

The Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G uses a 6.67 inch AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 3,000 nits peak brightness. It gets power from a 5,500 mAh battery backed by a 45 W charger.

Redmi Note 14 Pro ships with MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultra processor with up to 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage. It is IP68 and IP69 rated.

The Note 14 Pro 5G sports a 50 MP main camera, a 2 MP macro and an 8 MP ultrawide lens. It too has a 20 MP selfie camera.

Redmi Note 14 5G

The younger sibling uses the same size display but AMOLED with 2,100 nits of peak brightness. It uses a 5,110 mAh battery along with a 45 W charger inside the box.

The Note 14 rides on MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra with up to 8GB and 256 GB.

The Redmi Note 14 5G ships with a 50 MP main camera, an 8 MP ultrawide lens and a 2 MP macro. It gets a 16 MP front camera.

Price and Availability

The Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G starts at ₹29,999 the Note 14 Pro 5G begins at ₹23,999 and the Redmi Note 14 will sell for ₹17,999. The Note 14 5G sreies goes on sale starting December 13 across Mi, Flipkart and retail stores.

The company also launched Xiaomi Ultra slim powerbank of 4,900 mAh with 20 W output at a crowdfunded price of ₹1,799.
